BOO!

by cbaptista on 10/25/2010

Didn’t mean to scare ya…I know it’s been awhile since my last post! ;)  Sorry about that! It’s been quite a busy month!  Visitors, a wedding, a birthday celebration, trips to the pumpkin patch, and school field trips have filled my calendar as of late.  I’m exhausted!  And, it’s just the start of the “busy” season.   With Halloween approaching, I was inspired to make this card.  I found this stamp at J’s and immediately fell in love with it.  It’s a cool kinda spooky, huh?  I tried to get it a little spookier with some “distressing” action around the card and finished it off with an orange ribbon for a splash of autumn color.  So, what do you think?

Then, I was on one of my favorite sites for inspiration (Dawn McVey’s My Favorite Things) and saw her post about her friend (Pam Wilson) celebrating her 1 year blogiversary with a challenge. What a cute blog!  And, it so happens that my card fits the challenge…I think. LOL  I’m gonna link it anyway and join in on the fun.  It’ll be my first challenge…how exciting!  I just got started blogging here (as my 1 reader would know! haha) and realized that one day I may be celebrating a blogiversary too.  Yikes! Really?  haha

In case I don’t pop back in with another post before then, Happy Halloween!

-Cynthia
